Despite the worst violence by Indian security forces, youth are demanding the resignation of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to viral videos on social media platform X, youth are on the streets in various states including Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Gujarat, Bihar, West Bengal.
According to the Al Jazeera, Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was also detained by the police for supporting Indian youth.
Various Indian political parties also protested vigorously against the arrest of the opposition leader and in favor of the students.
Opposition leader Priyanka Gandhi, while exposing the worst atrocities committed by Indian security forces against their own citizens, said that students are being mercilessly attacked, batons are being thrown at them and tear gas shells are being fired, girls are being treated very badly, their clothes are being torn.
