KARACHI (Web Desk) – Veteran Pakistani actress Marina Khan has revealed for the first time why she chose to keep her natural grey hair, sharing a personal story behind the decision.
Speaking in a recent interview, Marina said she never regularly dyed her hair because she considered the repeated touch-ups too much effort. "I'm simply too lazy. Once you colour your hair, you have to keep maintaining it, and that's not for me," she said with a smile.
The actress said her late mother also played a major role in her decision. She recalled attending a school function where she was searching for her mother among a group of women.
Marina said she noticed a woman with grey hair but walked past because she assumed it could not be her mother. When she looked again, she realised it was indeed her mother, making her aware for the first time that her mother's hair had naturally turned grey.
"At that moment, I thought if my mother could look beautiful with grey hair, then why couldn't I?" she said.
Marina clarified that she has not completely stopped colouring her hair, adding that she has dyed it two or three times over the years, but never on a regular basis.
