KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan registered another sharp increase on Wednesday, mirroring gains in the international bullion market and pushing the precious metal to a new record high.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,600 per tola, taking it to Rs433,836.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs3,944 to reach Rs371,944.
Meanwhile, silver prices edged higher, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs7 to Rs6,403.
In the international market, gold gained $46 per ounce, with the global price climbing to $4,114 per ounce, contributing to the upward trend in domestic bullion rates.
