(Web Desk) – Social activist and psychologist Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has approached a family court seeking khula (judicial divorce) from her husband.
According to details, Dr Nabiha Ali, through her lawyer Chaudhry Mudassar Advocate, filed a petition for khula in the family court.
In her petition, she alleged that her husband, Haris Khokhar, is not a man of good character, claiming that he subjected her to verbal abuse and physical violence.
She further stated that her husband treated her "like an animal" and that she no longer wishes to continue the marital relationship.
The petition requested the court to issue a decree of khula at the earliest.
