Punjab law minister criticises Fazlur Rehman over anti-army remarks

Punjab Law Minister Rana Iqbal Khan criticised Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s remarks against the Pakistan Army, urging him to apologise, while highlighting Punjab government development projects

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Iqbal Khan has strongly condemned remarks made by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman regarding the Pakistan Army, demanding that he withdraw his statements and apologise to the nation.

Addressing a public gathering in Phool Nagar, Rana Iqbal Khan called on the JUI-F leader to immediately take back his comments and issue an apology.

The provincial minister also highlighted the performance of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, saying that the administration was working to fulfil promises made to the public.

He added that a major development project in Phool Nagar would become an important milestone for local residents.

Rana Iqbal Khan further said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision was focused on extending development initiatives and benefits to every city across the province.
