TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said in a written statement on Saturday that repeated US breaches of a memorandum of understanding signed by the presidents of Iran and the United States had shown that President Donald Trump's signature was "utterly worthless and devoid of credibility."
Washington and Tehran have exchanged strikes after a ceasefire agreement fell apart last week, raising fears of a return to all-out war.
Khamenei said the United States should know that the Iranian nation and the "resistance front" had "unforgettable lessons" for it.
Earlier, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has announced that Tehran has suspended the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reached with the United States.

According to Iranian media reports, Gharibabadi said the decision was made because the United States had repeatedly violated the agreement and continued to break its commitments during the course of negotiations while taking what he described as aggressive actions.
He said the United States was "once again receiving a response" to its actions and stressed that Iran's primary focus at present is on the country's defense.
The deputy foreign minister added that Iran had participated in the negotiation process in good faith, but US actions had severely undermined mutual trust.
