KARACHI (Dunya News) – An alleged robber was killed and four were injured and arrested during ‘encounters’ with police in different areas of the city here on Sunday.
Liaquatabad Police and Shaheen Force clashed with the suspects near Firdous Shopping Mall. In the exchange of fire, one suspect was killed on the spot while his accomplice was arrested in an injured condition.
During the encounter, their three accomplices including a woman managed to escape.
Zaman Town Police arrested one suspect in an injured condition after an encounter. Supermarket police arrested two suspects. One of them was injured after an alleged encounter in Liaquatabad C Area.
After an exchange of gunfire, Noor Jahan Street Police arrested a suspect in an injured condition, while his accomplice managed to escape.
Quaidabad police arrested two suspects, and one of them was injured during an ‘encounter’ with police. Weapons, stolen goods, and motorcycles were recovered from the possession. Further investigation was underway.
