Govt raises petrol price by Rs13.18, diesel by Rs13.80 per litre

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.

Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs13.18 per litre, taking the new price to Rs310.71 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has also been raised by Rs13.80 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs323.30 per litre.

According to sources, the petroleum levy on petrol has been increased by Rs9.36 per litre, raising it to Rs80 per litre from the previous Rs70.36 per litre.

The notification stated that the revised prices will come into effect from midnight and will remain applicable for one week.
