LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum will lay the foundation stone of the Judicial Tower project on Friday, marking the start of a major initiative to bring all courts in Lahore under one roof.
During her visit to the Lahore District Courts (Aiwan-e-Adl), the chief justice will also inaugurate the solarisation project for subordinate courts before launching the Judicial Tower project.
The Rs24 billion project includes the construction of two judicial towers that will accommodate 184 courtrooms, significantly expanding judicial infrastructure in the provincial capital.
The development will also feature a parking plaza with space for 476 vehicles, a 10-storey administrative block with three basement parking levels, a diary branch, a record room and an Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADCR) Centre.
According to officials, the project is expected to be completed within 30 months and is aimed at improving court facilities and centralising judicial services in Lahore.
