KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan's seafood exports have reached $568 million, the highest level in the country's history, according to Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry.
The minister said blue economy reforms had led to a significant increase in seafood exports, with frozen fish remaining Pakistan's largest seafood export.
He said Pakistan's major export markets for fish included China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United States and several other countries.
Chaudhry added that the country achieved record exports despite regional challenges, while the Marine Fisheries Department maintained international quality standards.
