QUETTA: (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday strongly condemned the attack on the residence of tribal elder and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ticket holder Mir Shafiqur Rehman Mengal in Khuzdar, saying that the enemies of peace will never succeed in their malicious intentions.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Sarfraz Bugti said that the courage, bravery, and steadfastness shown by Mir Shafiqur Rehman in confronting the terrorists were commendable and reflected the nation's determination not to bow before terrorism.
Sarfraz Bugti said that the terrorists involved in the attack, along with their facilitators, would be brought to justice and given appropriate punishment.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the people of Balochistan, tribal elders, political leadership, and security institutions are united against terrorism, and that every effort will be made to thwart the malicious designs of the enemies of peace at all costs.
