SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - A policeman embraced martyrdom and another sustained injuries in a firing incident near Rahimabad area here on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the martyred officer was identified as Saddam Otho, while the injured officer was identified as Younis Lashari. The attackers managed to escape after the shooting.
The body of the martyred officer and the injured were shifted to the hospital. The injured was referred to Sukkur as his condition was critical.
After the incident, entrance and exit routes were sealed, and a search operation was launched. Police collected forensic evidence to reach out the attackers. An investigation was underway.
