TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has vowed to carry forward the mission of the country's martyred supreme leader, saying his government will honour every promise made to the Iranian people.
In a statement, President Pezeshkian said the late supreme leader devoted his entire life to serving the people, safeguarding national sovereignty and strengthening the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said the sacrifices of the country's martyrs would continue to serve as a source of inspiration for the Iranian nation, adding that the government remains committed to advancing their mission.
The president also pledged to dedicate all available resources to achieving the ideals and objectives of the late leader.
Separately, the commander of Iran's Quds Force said the martyred supreme leader spent his life working for the welfare of the people, the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the support of oppressed communities across the region.
He added that the late leader's ideology and principles would continue to guide future generations.
Iran's vice president also paid tribute to the late supreme leader, saying it is the responsibility of every public official and every Iranian citizen to uphold his directives and guidance.
He said the government would continue to implement the late leader's vision to promote national development, unity and stability.
The Iranian leadership collectively reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the sacrifices of the country's martyrs would not be in vain and pledged to continue pursuing Iran's core national interests, sovereignty and public service with determination.
