ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Turkiye after attending the condolence ceremony for Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Tehran.
The prime minister led Pakistan’s high-level delegation at the ceremony. The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Atta Tarar, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other senior officials.
Prime Minister Shehbaz, Field Marshal Asim Munir and members of the delegation offered prayers for the late Iranian leader.

Paying tribute to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the prime minister said the late Supreme Leader had guided the Iranian nation with vision, wisdom and foresight for decades, acknowledging his significant contributions and leadership.
Following the condolence ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed Tehran for an official visit to Türkiye, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the Turkish leadership on bilateral relations, trade, investment and regional developments.
