Gold prices in Pakistan jump for second straight day as global rates climb

In the international market, gold gained $122 to $4,185 per ounce

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply for a second consecutive day on Friday, tracking gains in international markets, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association said the price of gold increased by 12,200 Pakistani rupees per tola to 440,936 rupees.

The price of 10 grams of gold rose by 10,459 rupees to 378,031 rupees, it said.

In the international market, gold gained $122 to $4,185 per ounce, according to the association.

The latest increase follows a rise of 9,100 rupees per tola recorded a day earlier, taking the cumulative gain over the past two days to 21,300 rupees per tola.
