Suicide jacket found in Akora Khattak Afghan refugees' camp

The jacket carries seven-kg explosives

NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a suicide jacket carrying seven-kg explosives from a former Afghan refugees’ camp in Akora Khattak.

Akora Khattak DSP Adnan Azam said a suspicious bag was found lying at the former Afghan refugee camp, Shanna Wanah, in Akora Khattak, adding police took the suspicious bag into custody and found a suicide jacket in the sack.

According to the DSP, a bomb disposal unit was called to examine the suicide jacket, adding the jacket was full of explosives.

The police officer added that the bomb disposal unit safely seized the suicide jacket. An investigation was launched to reach to the culprits.
