NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Reports have emerged claiming that two prominent Indian news channels were allegedly hacked, with social media circulating videos suggesting unusual interruptions in their broadcasts.
According to reports, the broadcasts of TV9 Telugu and Freedom TV Kannada were allegedly compromised, with claims that during a speech by the Indian president, the Pakistani national anthem was briefly aired on both channels.
It is further reported that hackers also aired a message warning against any interference with Pakistan, which has drawn attention on social media platforms where multiple videos and claims continue to circulate.

TV9 Telugu is reported to have around 14 million followers on its social media platforms, while Freedom TV Kannada has over one million followers.
Cybersecurity observers have stated that if the incident is confirmed, it could raise questions regarding the cyber protection systems of Indian media outlets; however, no official and conclusive statement has yet been issued regarding the authenticity, nature, or responsibility of the alleged hacking.
