(Web Desk) – Pakistani television personalities Tauseeq Haider and Farah Saadia have dismissed social media rumours claiming they have secretly tied the knot, describing the reports as false and baseless.
In a video message shared on social media, the two said certain YouTubers were spreading fabricated stories simply to attract views and generate sensational content.
Speaking in a light-hearted manner, Tauseeq joked that they had "already gotten married" and would have preferred to announce the news themselves if it were true. He sarcastically remarked that he woke up to discover he had been married overnight and even praised the edited wedding image circulating online.
He added that if content creators had earned money by spreading the false story, they should at least send the couple a share of the proceeds as a wedding gift.
Tauseeq also said he was content with his current life, adding humorously that remaining unmarried had taught him not to get married, while Farah had learned from her previous marriage that it was not the right choice for her.
Farah Saadia said she was surprised when she first came across the rumours, adding that those spreading false stories were benefiting from misleading content at the expense of others. She urged social media users and content creators to act responsibly, noting that such rumours also affect their families, children and parents.
She clarified that she and Tauseeq are close friends and will remain friends, dismissing the marriage rumours as entirely unfounded.
