KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has directed the authorities concerned to accelerate work on the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, stressing the need for timely completion of this key public transport initiative.
The directive was issued during a meeting held in Karachi on Tuesday to review the progress of the Red Line BRT project. Officials briefed the minister on the current status of construction, ongoing development activities, and the challenges being faced in executing different phases of the project.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharjeel Inam Memon described the Red Line BRT as a vital project for the welfare of the people and the development of Karachi’s transport infrastructure.
He instructed the relevant departments to ensure that every phase of the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality.
The minister also emphasised the importance of stronger coordination and effective communication among all concerned institutions.
