PSX opens positively as KSE-100 index reclaims 179,000 points

The PSX opened higher as the KSE-100 Index gained over 1,000 points to reclaim the 179,000 level after closing at 178,414 in the previous session.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opened in the green on Tuesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index regaining the 179,000-point level amid strong buying activity.

At the start of the second trading session of the week, the index surged by more than 1531 points to reach 179,946 points.

In the previous trading session, the KSE-100 Index had closed at 178,414 points.
