MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly on Monday unanimously approved Rs 286 billion budget for the fiscal year 2026-27.
Finance Minister AJK, Chaudhry Qasim Majeed presented the budget during a Legislative Assembly session presided over by Speaker AJK assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar.
According to the budget presented during the session Rs 36 billion have been allocated for development expenditures and Rs 250 billion have been allocated for non-development expenditures.
The budget was passed with unanimous support in the assembly. During the session, details of the government's development and non-development priorities and targets for the next fiscal year were also presented.
