KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Monday in line with downward trend in international market.
The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan's local bullion market decreased by Rs2,300 per tola to Rs428,936.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,972, settling at Rs367,743.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $23 per ounce, bringing the global rate down to $4,065 per ounce.
Silver prices also declined in the local market. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs69 to Rs6,324, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs59, settling at Rs5,421.
The decline comes at the start of the business week as local gold prices continued to track movements in the international bullion market.
