ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with European Union High Representative andVice President (EU HRVP) Kaja Kallas, on Sunday and reviewed the rapidly evolving regional situation.
European Union High Representative/Vice President Kaja Kallas appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts culminating in signing of the Islamabad MOU, however she expressed serious concerns at the recent ceasefire violations and stressed that channels of communication must remain open, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
Ishaq Dar apprised Kaja Kallas about Pakistan’s continued diplomatic efforts towards a comprehensive framework for peace and stability in the Middle East.
He further emphasized the necessity for all parties to abide by the ceasefire agreement. The two sides also agreed to maintain close contact.
