RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Security forces on Sunday carried out an “intelligence-based” ground operation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, followed by “calibrated strikes” against militant hideouts and safe havens, killing 29 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Jamaatul Ahrar.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said that in continuation of Operation Ghazb-lil-Haq, operations were conducted against Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists.

The ISPR said that in an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four militants were killed. Those killed included the high-value commander Khan Farosh, alias Zabal, and three other members of the India-backed proxy Jamaatul Ahrar.

The ISPR stated that successful operations were also conducted against Jamaatul Ahrar and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in Afghanistan provinces including Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar. During these operations, three militant bases were destroyed in which 25 militants were killed, and several others were injured.
