Pakistan, Iran to increase trade thru Taftan railway station

The report states that all facilities for loading, unloading, customs clearance, and import and export will be provided at Taftan Railway Station.

TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Officials of Pakistan and Iran have expressed their determination to increase bilateral trade between the two countries to $5billion.

Significant progress has been made in increasing trade between Pakistan and Iran, with Iranian media reporting trade between the two countries will take place through the Taftan Railway Station.

The report states that all facilities for loading, unloading, customs clearance, and import and export will be provided at Taftan Railway Station.

This move by both countries is expected to boost bilateral trade, make transportation easier and reduce costs.

According to Iranian Railways, this decision was made after a telephone conversation between Iranian and Pakistani railway officials. The two countries are determined to increase bilateral trade to $5 billion.
