LONDON (Web Desk) – FIH Pro League saw India register a dominant 7-1 victory over Pakistan in a one-sided clash in London, extending Pakistan’s losing streak in the tournament.
Pakistan made a promising start and held a one-goal advantage in the first quarter against India.
Pakistan’s only goal of the match was scored by Abu Bakar, giving his side an early lead and raising hopes of a competitive contest.
However, the Indian team bounced back strongly and completely outplayed Pakistan, scoring goal after goal to take full control of the match.
At full time, the score stood at 7-1 in India’s favour, handing Pakistan a heavy defeat.
It was Pakistan’s 15th consecutive loss in the Pro League. Pakistan will play their final Pro League match against England later today.
