Updated on:

Government cuts jet fuel prices by Rs56.97, potentially reducing air fares after major petrol and diesel price reductions.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) — The government has reduced jet fuel prices following significant cuts in petrol and diesel rates, raising expectations of lower air travel fares.

According to sources, the price of jet fuel has been reduced by Rs56.97 per litre, bringing the new price down to Rs238.87 per litre.

Sources said the reduction in jet fuel prices may lead to a decrease in air travel fares, providing relief to passengers.

The development comes a day after the government announced major cuts in petroleum prices, reducing petrol by Rs74.28 per litre and diesel by Rs67.31 per litre.
