Gold prices in Pakistan tumble for second consecutive day

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $149 per ounce, settling at $4,156 per ounce.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly today (Friday), marking the second consecutive day of decline.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs14,900 to Rs438,036.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped significantly, declining by Rs13,410 to Rs374,205.

Silver prices followed the same trend, with 24-karat silver per tola falling by Rs413 to Rs6,946.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $149 per ounce, settling at $4,156 per ounce.

Bullion dealers said that local gold prices have fallen by a cumulative Rs17,200 per tola over the past two trading sessions, reflecting weakness in global bullion markets.
