ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Thursday received a telephone call from the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
FM Bayramov congratulated Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, which Pakistan endorsed as a mediator.
He appreciated Pakistan’s sincere and sustained diplomatic efforts as a mediator that contributed to this important development.
Both sides noted this positive development as an important step towards lasting peace and stability for the region, as well as towards strengthening confidence in the global economic outlook.
