GWADAR (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Motorway Police have been praised for their honesty after recovering a bag filled with gold jewellery worth approximately 2.2 million rupees and returning it to its rightful owner.
According to a spokesperson, officers found an unclaimed bag near Gwadar containing valuable gold ornaments. The items were later secured and efforts were initiated to trace the owner.
With the help of social media and local sources, officials successfully identified the owner and completed all legal formalities before handing over the recovered belongings.
The owner expressed gratitude to the Motorway Police for their integrity and timely action in ensuring the safe return of the valuables.
Deputy Inspector General West Zone Balochistan Dr Quresh Khan also announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for the officers involved, praising their professionalism and honesty.
The Motorway Police reiterated their commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining public trust through consistent service.
