LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pre-monsoon showers have begun in various parts of Pakistan, bringing light to heavy rainfall to several regions.
In Punjab, multiple areas received rain of varying intensity. Rawalpindi and Islamabad experienced heavy downpours accompanied by strong winds. Rainfall was also reported in Attock and surrounding areas.
Pre-monsoon showers were also recorded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy rain and hailstorms hit different parts of Peshawar, while Abbottabad and nearby areas witnessed rainfall along with strong winds.
In Abbottabad, a cart vendor was seriously injured after a tree fell near the Girls Degree College. Heavy rainfall was also reported in Karak, Haripur, Ghazi and Khanpur.
Several low-lying areas were flooded with rainwater, while sections of the GT Road resembled a river due to water accumulating following the downpours.
