LAHORE (Muhammad Ashfaq) – Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Aliya Neelum, has formally inaugurated the first-ever Punjab Judicial Infrastructure Management System (JIMS) in judicial history.
The Lahore High Court took a major step toward modernizing the judicial system and ensuring transparency by launching the digital platform on the special directives of Chief Justice Aliya Neelum.
Officials said the system is the first of its kind in Pakistan’s judiciary and is designed to digitally monitor judicial infrastructure across Punjab’s tehsils, improve planning, and ensure transparent allocation of resources.
Through the new platform, complete details of judicial complexes across the province, along with facilities available to judicial officers, lawyers, and litigants, will now be accessible with a single click.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Justice Aliya Neelum said the launch of the Judicial Infrastructure Management System (JIMS) is a significant step toward faster, transparent, and technology-driven justice delivery.
She emphasized that data-driven decision-making and modern technology will bring revolutionary improvements to the judicial system at the grassroots level.
The chief justice added that the system will not only assist in infrastructure planning and monitoring but will also ensure efficient and transparent use of resources, ultimately benefiting litigants through faster access to justice.
She also appreciated the efforts of the IT team behind the project. Director General Judicial and Case Management Javed Iqbal Bosal was also present on the occasion.
Additional Registrar IT briefed that JIMS is an integrated digital platform connecting judicial complexes, residential facilities, and construction projects across Punjab into a unified network.
