FRANCE (Web Desk) - US President Donald Trump has said that the memorandum of understanding reached with Iran is not yet a final agreement, warning that the United States could resort to bombing Iran again if he is dissatisfied with the final deal.
Speaking to media during a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, Trump made it clear that no American company would invest in Iran.
He stated that once a comprehensive agreement with Iran is finalized, the Strait of Hormuz would be fully reopened.
However, he emphasized that Iran would under no circumstances be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
The US president said that significant progress with Iran had boosted global stock markets and contributed to a decline in oil prices.

The US president further stated that the memorandum of understanding with Iran does not include immediate sanctions relief.
On the occasion, Egyptian president congratulated Trump on the progress made toward achieving peace in the Middle East and said he was looking forward to a final agreement with Iran.
