ISLAMABAD (APP) - Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and PPP KP President Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha to discuss the province’s political, organisational, and administrative affairs.
The meeting was also attended by PPP Central Secretary Information Nadeem Afzal Chan and Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reviewed the political and organizational situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha briefed the chairman on the party’s recent activities, including the Youth Convention in Abbottabad and the public outreach event in Mansehra.
Bilawal appreciated the party’s performance, describing the organizational work in Abbottabad as impressive and commending the efforts of the Mansehra chapter.
Governor Kundi also informed the PPP chairman about the wheat shortage crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Expressing concern over the situation, Bilawal directed the Governor to play an active role in resolving the issue, recalling his efforts in helping address the province’s CNG crisis.
Bilawal further instructed Governor Kundi to pursue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s interests by engaging all political parties and building consensus on key provincial issues.
During the meeting, Governor Kundi also briefed the PPP chairman on the proposed taxation affecting the former FATA and PATA regions in the federal budget.
Bilawal reaffirmed that he would continue to raise his voice for the rights of the people of FATA and PATA.
