The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has delayed the provincial budget to June 17

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has delayed the provincial budget to June 17, which was previously scheduled to be presented on Monday (today) after a deadlock persisted between the PTI disgruntled members and CM Sohail Afridi.

According to the party sources, there is a fear that angry members will not attend the budget session, which led the KP government to postpone the session for June 17.

On the instructions of CM Sohail Afridi, the assembly session was postponed once again and has been reconvened on June 17 instead of June 15.

Similarly, the government is continuing to consult with disgruntled members and senior leadership on several issues. The Finance Department has prepared the budget for the entire year.

On the other hand, Finance Adviser Muzammil Aslam said the chief minister has not yet given any instructions regarding the presentation of the budget.

The Chief Minister will decide whether to present the budget for the entire year or for three months.
