ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has allocated Rs895.4 million for the internal expenses of the Prime Minister’s Office in the upcoming budget, according to official budget documents.
The documents further show that Rs92.12 million has been allocated for the public affairs section of the Prime Minister’s Office.
For the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), the government has earmarked approximately Rs1.47 billion in expenditure for the next fiscal year. Meanwhile, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is expected to receive Rs35.43 crore under the proposed budget.
According to the budget breakdown, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been allocated Rs85.60 billion in total expenditures. Out of this, Rs29 billion will be used for salaries and allowances of FBR employees.
Islamabad Capital Territory has been allocated over Rs23.22 billion for administrative expenses, while the National Assembly will receive more than Rs17 billion.
The Senate of Pakistan has been allocated over Rs9.67 billion, and Rs1.20 billion has been set aside for parliamentary affairs in the upcoming financial year.
The allocations are part of the broader federal budget for fiscal year 2026-27, which outlines government spending across key institutions and departments.
