Kerosene price raised despite cut in petrol, diesel rates

OGRA raises kerosene price by Rs1.49 per litre despite cuts in petrol and diesel rates, with the revised prices taking effect immediately.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The price of kerosene oil has been increased despite a reduction in petrol and diesel rates, with the new price coming into effect immediately.

According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs1.49 per litre.

Following the latest revision, the new price of kerosene has reached Rs282.19 per litre. The revised rate has already taken effect.

Govt slashes petrol price by Rs4, diesel Rs2 per litre

Before the increase, kerosene was being sold at Rs280.70 per litre. Last week, the price of the fuel was also raised by Rs8.70 per litre.

Meanwhile, the government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs4 per litre and diesel by Rs2 per litre.

Under the new pricing structure, petrol will be available at Rs373.78 per litre, while the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs378.78 per litre.
