KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices registered a sharp increase in both local and international markets on Friday, with the domestic bullion market witnessing a significant jump in the value of the precious metal.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs7,250, taking the new rate to Rs440,966.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs6,525, reaching Rs375,947 after the latest increase.
Silver prices also moved upward, with the per tola rate climbing by Rs190 to settle at Rs7,079.

A day earlier, gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both local and international markets, with the domestic bullion market recording a sharp drop in the value of the precious metal.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs9,720, bringing the rate down to Rs432,716.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs8,748, after which its value stood at Rs369,422.
