ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 begins today

Pakistan women’s team will begin its campaign on June 14 in Birmingham against traditional rivals India Women’s Cricket Team

(Web Desk) - The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has officially started in England, marking the beginning of one of the biggest events in women’s cricket.

The opening match of the mega tournament will be played between hosts England Women’s Cricket Team and Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket Team, scheduled to begin at 10:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

The Pakistan women’s team will begin its campaign on June 14 in Birmingham against traditional rivals India Women’s Cricket Team. They will then face South Africa on June 17, followed by Bangladesh on June 20 in Southampton.

Their fourth group match will be played against Australia on June 23 in Leeds, while the final group-stage match is scheduled against the Netherlands on June 27 in Bristol.

The squad is led by captain Fatima Sana and includes players such as Muneeba Ali, Gull Feroza, Ayesha Zafar, Iram Javed, Eyman Fatima, and Aliya Riaz, along with Natalia Pervaiz, Sadaf Shamas, Tuba Hassan, Ramin Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu, Diana Baig, and Tasmia Rubab.
