KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast some relief for Karachi residents, saying the intensity of the heat and temperature are likely to decrease from Friday as weather conditions improve.

According to the Met Office, the weather in the port city is expected to remain partly cloudy, although hot conditions are likely to persist during the day. However, the full restoration of sea breezes is expected to bring some improvement in the overall weather.

The department said humidity in the air was recorded at 75 per cent, while southwesterly winds were blowing at a speed of 18 kilometres per hour.

The maximum temperature in the city is expected to remain between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius. The Met Office added that there is no forecast of rainfall for Karachi today.
