QUETTA (Dunya News) - A tragic incident in Quetta’s Wahdat Colony left five members of a family dead after a man allegedly opened fire on his wife and four children before attempting to take his own life, police said.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident took place inside a residential house where the suspect first shot his wife and four children, killing them on the spot.
Police added that the man then turned the weapon on himself and suffered serious injuries. He was shifted to hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, police and other law enforcement agencies reached the site, cordoned off the area and began collecting evidence.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
Authorities said investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the incident, while all possible aspects of the case are being examined.
