TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Iran's Foreign Ministry has accused the United States of supporting Israel and said repeated ceasefire violations are unacceptable, urging Washington to stop backing Israeli actions.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Iran had long harbored concerns about both the United States and Israel, questioning their intentions. He alleged that Washington bears direct responsibility for recent ceasefire violations and argued that Israeli actions cannot be separated from US policies.
Baghaei stated that Iran has no issues with neighboring countries but expressed regret over states that allowed their territories to be used against Iran.
He further accused Israel of carrying out what he described as a three-year-long campaign of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and criticized neighboring countries, particularly Egypt, for failing to speak out against it. According to Baghaei, Iran remained committed to the ceasefire while the United States and Israel continued to violate its terms, claiming that recent developments were part of a broader US strategy.

The spokesperson also alleged that Israel has continued attacks on Lebanon despite the ceasefire. He stressed that Lebanon is an integral part of the ceasefire agreement and said Tehran seeks full implementation of ceasefire commitments across all fronts, including Lebanon. He added that Iran would not allow the agreement to be weakened and accused both Israel and the United States of attempting to undermine it.
Baghaei warned that Iran cannot remain silent in the face of ongoing ceasefire violations and said the country is fully prepared to deliver a strong response to any hostile actions.
Commenting on nuclear issues, he criticized Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), accusing him of ignoring facts and deliberately adopting an anti-Iran stance. He claimed that such bias risks damaging the credibility of the international nuclear watchdog.
Baghaei also accused Israel of involvement in multiple alleged false-flag operations, saying recent incidents had deepened suspicions. He noted that talks with the United States had been taking place in an atmosphere of profound mistrust and argued that contradictions in Washington's approach had created confusion in the diplomatic process. According to him, recent developments are likely to further complicate diplomatic efforts between the two sides.
