PPP sources said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has convened a meeting of the PPP's Azad Kashmir chapter in Islamabad on Sunday

MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed dissatisfaction over the prevailing political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), according to sources within the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

PPP sources said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has convened a meeting of the PPP's Azad Kashmir chapter in Islamabad on Sunday evening to review the latest developments in the region.

Sources added that the PPP chairman is unhappy with the current situation in AJK, and important decisions are expected to be taken during the meeting in light of the evolving political circumstances.

The meeting comes amid growing tensions in the region. Two days ago, the AJK government declared the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee a banned organization. In response, the outlawed group has announced a strike across the region on June 9.

The expected deliberations are likely to focus on the political and law-and-order situation in AJK, as well as the party's strategy in response to recent developments.
