PM summons National Economic Council meeting on June 8

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting on June 8 to review the country's overall economic situation, development priorities, and key policy matters.

The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister during which the National Development Program is expected to be approved.

According to sources, the meeting will focus on key targets of the Annual Development Program (ADP). Participants will discuss development priorities and plans for the upcoming fiscal year.

Sources said that the chief ministers and finance ministers of all provinces will attend the session.

The meeting will also review the country's economic growth and development expenditures. In addition, the National Economic Survey is scheduled to be presented on June 9.
