Gold prices fall by Rs1,469 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices fell in global and local markets, with per tola gold dropping Rs1,469 and silver also declining by Rs67 per tola in domestic bullion trading.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices witnessed a decline in both international and local bullion markets on Friday, reflecting a downward trend in global trading.

In the international bullion market, gold dropped by $14 per ounce, bringing the price down to $4,453 per ounce.

Following the global trend, local gold rates also declined significantly. In the domestic market, per tola gold fell by Rs1,469 to settle at Rs467,816.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,197, reaching Rs401,012.

Silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market. Per tola silver dropped by Rs67, bringing it down to Rs7,730.

Market analysts attribute the fluctuations to changes in international demand and global economic indicators influencing bullion trading trends.
