Mahira Khan says open to all kinds of roles, not just heroine characters

(Web Desk)- Renowned Pakistani actor and superstar Mahira Khan has said she is fully content with her current phase of life and is not worried about a time when she may stop receiving traditional heroine roles.

Speaking at a special session titled “From Story to Character” during a literary and cultural event in Dubai, Mahira Khan discussed fame, success and the evolving nature of roles with age.

She said she deeply values success and the love of her fans, adding that her connection with her audience remains an important part of her life.

Mahira Khan noted that while she appreciates the affection she receives from people, she is also aware that fame and popularity are not permanent. According to her, this is why she prefers to stay focused on her work and continuous improvement as an actor.

The actor further said that success and stardom are temporary and should not be considered the ultimate goal of life. She added that she is enjoying her current stage of life and is fully at peace with the idea that conventional heroine roles may become less frequent over time.

Mahira also urged directors and producers not to limit her to stereotypical or traditional roles, saying she is eager to explore diverse and challenging characters that allow her to showcase different dimensions of her acting.
