(Dunya News) – Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed made a seven-spot jump into fourth (633) to reach a career high position and rating for ODI Bowlers in latest rankings issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday.
The jump comes after he secured a pair of two-wicket hauls in ongoing ODI series against Australia.
Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi enjoyed a four-spot jump to 13th (593) thanks to four wickets of his own.
However, Australian quick Nathan Ellis moved up 24 spots to 44th after claiming six wickets across the two ODIs against Pakistan.
With runs hard to come by in the series, Matt Renshaw's knocks of 43 and 61 helped him move over 100 spots (to 78th) in his renaissance as a reliable white-ball batting option for Australia. Only the likes of Josh Inglis (up three spots to 57th) and Cameron Green (up five spots to 63rd) elsewhere made inroads of note, while Salman Ali Agha lost his spot in the top ten, moving five spots down to 14th.
