Gold prices plunge by Rs8,600 per tola in Pakistan

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs467,762.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline on Tuesday, falling by Rs8,600 per tola under the influence of trends in the international market, reportedly linked to delays in an agreement between Iran and the United States.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs467,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs7,373 to Rs401,030.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $86 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,544 per ounce.

Silver prices also registered a decline in the local market, with the price per tola falling by Rs259 to Rs7,894.
