QUETTA (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to fully support security forces and law enforcement agencies in their mission to eradicate terrorism and protect the lives and property of citizens.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Sarfraz Bugti expressed satisfaction over the successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in multiple districts of Balochistan, which resulted in the elimination of 17 terrorists. He commended the professional skills, bravery, and sacrifices of the security forces, noting that their timely and effective actions had thwarted the malicious designs of terrorist elements and dealt a significant blow to networks working against peace and stability in the province.
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the people of Balochistan desire peace, development, and prosperity, and terrorist groups cannot hold the province’s bright future hostage.
He reiterated that the provincial government will continue to extend full cooperation to security institutions to ensure the complete eradication of terrorism.
The Chief Minister pledged that operations against anti-state elements, their facilitators, and externally backed terrorist networks will continue with full force. He stressed that the government is determined to guarantee peace, continuity of development, and protection of citizens at all costs.
