(Web Desk) – Actor Saba Qamar is reportedly set to portray Anmol alias Pinky, an alleged drug trafficker, in an upcoming biographical drama based on the controversial figure who gained national attention after her arrest in Karachi last month.
The biographical project is expected to examine the events surrounding her arrest and the intense public scrutiny that followed. According to reports, the script is being written by journalist Shahzeb Khanzada, who previously penned Case No. 9, another production featuring Qamar in a leading role.

The news did not come as a surprise to many of Qamar’s fans, as the actor is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s most versatile performers. She has received praise for her work in dramas such as Baaghi, Cheekh, and Case No. 9, all of which tackled serious social issues including honour killings and sexual violence, themes rarely explored openly on mainstream Pakistani television.
